ICC World Cup 2015 - Schedule & Fixture

The ICC World Cup 2015 will be held from February 14-March 29, 2015 in Australia and New Zealand.

There will be 49 matches played over the course of the World Cup, with 14 teams scheduled to participate. Apart from the 10 Test-playing nations, Ireland and Afghanistan have managed to get through, which leaves two spots open for teams such as Netherlands, Kenya, Canada, and Scotland, among others.

The World Cup will open with a New Zealand- Sri Lanka contest, followed by Australia taking on England on the same day.

India, the defending champions, begin its title defence against traditional rivals Pakistan in a high-voltage clash in Adelaide on February 15.

The two semi-finals will be held at Auckland and Sydney, while the final will be at Melbourne.

Following the success of the ICC World Cup 2011 in the Indian sub-continent, the 2015 event is expected to be another action-packed clash of the top teams in world cricket...
